PS: You cannot be a paratrooper if you are a member of congress or a general manager.

When you are sent on a mission you must quit your job (you're sure to get it back again when you return though), resign from your political party (again, just rejoin when you return) and sell your newspaper (not completely sure about this, you might be able to keep it).
